6. Picture links - (how to make them load faster)
To speed up the loading of your own web page, you can use a local copy of one of the images instead of pointing to the copy on my site.
If you use a local copy, your web page will not need to contact my server while it is being loaded. At busy times for my server, or for the Internet in general, you will find that your page loads slowly, and that load time increases with an increase in the number of links you have on your page which point to external web servers.
If you wish to use a local copy, you may right-click on the picture and save it to your local disk, to the same location where you store other images you display on your page.
Don't forget to change the HTML above so that the "img src" command points to your local copy.
